LENDART: ART BEYOND GALLERIES
April 11, 2023, Double room
The lecture ware cover the following topics:
– emergence, context and definitions of landscape art
– specifics of domestic “environmental art”
– centers of land art in Ukraine
Statement:
As a practicing artist, I found myrself in the direction of land art, site-specific art, performance, installation and fine art. I am trying to reveal the following topics: The presence of the artist in the performance and the limits of the performance,
Psychology of the viewer’s perception and Form of time of space.
In creativity, I lean towards the method of observation, detection, interaction, addition and fixation of the environment. All my works reflect or contain a piece of the landscape in some way.
I put the acquired practical experience into the theory of art by researching the specifics of the formation of land art in Ukraine and work on the dissertation “Vernacular language of Ukrainian land art”. I am creating an archive of domestic
environmental art.
I consider it necessary to study and spread knowledge about the creative interaction of Ukrainian landartists with the aim of elevating the cordocentric component in modern art and outside of it, since the dialogue of man with nature is his primordial and integral part of life, which today, in the time of global transformations, needs increased attention.

WAR IN THE LANGUAGE OF LENDART
May 11, 2023, Double room
With the beginning of full-scale hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, thousands of people died, were injured, lost their homes, friends and relatives. Most of the de-occupied and demined territories are still dangerous for free movement. Such places include the locations of annual Landart festivals. 2022 was a turning point for the cultural center of the country, but the artistic community full of synergy is finding new ways of creative realization.
