Anatol Stepanenko, born in 1948 in Irpin, Kyiv region. Representative of the New Wave (Nova khvylia), artist, curator, film director and performer.
In 1967, graduated the Kyiv Art and Industrial Technical School (now M. Boychuk KDADPMD)
In 1977, graduated the Lviv Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts.
In 1984, graduated the Higher Directing and Screenwriting Courses in Moscow.
In 1993–1998 he worked in Switzerland. 1994 – received a scholarship from the Christopf Merian Stiftung, IAAB (International Artists Exchange Program), Basel, Switzerland.
1988-1989, member of the artistic group “White Crow”.
