Workshop on the skills of using a personal cosmetic bag and the basics of posing for the camera
October 19, 2024, at the premises of the Center “I am Mariupol”, Uzhhorod

On September 19, the I Am Mariupol Center hosted a workshop by Dana Brezhneva and Natalia Dyachenko, participants of the Sorry No Rooms Available residence, on the skills of using a personal cosmetic bag and the basics of posing for the camera. The workshop analyzed each participant’s cosmetics for the necessary products and recommended what to choose according to the personality color type, face shape and skin quality. Also, a professional photographer told how to control the pose and light during a photo shoot to emphasize the best features and hide flaws. The authors of the workshop spent a month in Uzhhorod with the project “Photo Atelier of Wonder”, which provides makeovers and portraits of IDPs, volunteers, military and local residents at the Intourist Zakaraattya hotel. Participation in the workshop was free of charge, but limited to 10 places.

The SNRA residency program draws attention to the role of culture and art during the russian-Ukrainian war, aims to implement institutionally critical projects related to cultural heritage (tangible and intangible), development of artistic-cultural institutions.
