Author’s text:
The Imparted Space project is an attempt to archive the subtle matter of the space of the Zakarpattia Hotel as a gesture of faith, love and hope for the impossible reincarnation of lost well-being and serenity in its past state.
At the same time, it is a study of space as such, which is in itself self-sufficient, valuable and at the same time ephemeral – elusive precisely for man, as a temporal/mortal being, since space and time are fundamental components of the physical world. The preservation of the places and events significant for the subject is a means of combating the transience of life.
When time control is lost due to unforeseen circumstances, the effort to return to the lost order leads to the restoration of the past way of life in order to gain a sense of stability and security in the future.
After all, time is cyclical, prosperity and decline replace each other.
